Equilibrium was the very first project of my young company. LUCITÀ, then named IMAGICA, debuted on the world stage with a multimedia live performance presented in July 2000 at Between Nature, an international arts and ecology conference organized by the Centre for the Study of Environmental Change (CSEC) and the Department of Theatre Studies at Lancaster University in the United Kingdom.
The core of Equilibrium is composed of seven poems in seven different languages, each addressing a critical element of the world we live in:
Light (Greek); Air (French); Water (Arabic); Earth (Shona); Tree (Spanish); Human Race (Hindi); Life (Italian)
The poetry was set to the music of Chris Spheeris, an internationally acclaimed composer and recording artist.
