Yesterday I happened across an interesting article written by a guy about relationships. The gist of it was, if you're not truly ready for a relationship, don't force it. No matter how good your date looks/sounds/feels.
In other words, don't make yourself believe you need to be in a relationship to be happy.
In other words, if you've got plenty you want and need to do on your own for a while, that's cool.
In other words, if you feel you need someone else to make you happy, you're setting yourself up for some massive disappointment sooner or later.
Translation? You gotta be happy with you first.
Even if you are in a relationship, don't forget to love the YOU part of the equation.
We've all heard some variation of this in some form or another, on some platform or another, before. But truths like this are timeless, and they don't fade.
Truth, unlike fake orange hair, does not fade.
