Called one of the Three Views of Japan, Matsushima Bay boasts 260 miniature islands (shima) dotted with pine trees (matsu), and is so beautiful that it supposedly renders poets speechless.
So naturally I had to go see this wonder. I was speechless indeed... but only because I don't speak Japanese!
